MAT 13:53 ś And it came about that when Jesus had finished these parables, He departed from there.

MAT 8:18 ś Now when Jesus saw a crowd around Him, He gave orders to depart to the other side.

MAT 8:23 ś And when He got into the boat, His disciples followed Him.
MAT 8:24 And behold, there arose a great storm in the sea, so that the boat was covered with the waves; but He Himself was asleep.
MAT 8:25 And they came to Him, and awoke Him, saying, "Save us, Lord; we are perishing!"
MAT 8:26 And He said to them, "Why are you timid, you men of little faith?" Then He arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and it became perfectly calm.

MAT 8:27 And the men marveled, saying, "What kind of a man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey Him?"

MAR 4:35 ś And on that day, when evening had come, He said to them, "Let us go over to the other side."
MAR 4:36 And leaving the multitude, they took Him along with them, just as He was, in the boat; and other boats were with Him.
MAR 4:37 And there arose a fierce gale of wind, and the waves were breaking over the boat so much that the boat was already filling up.
MAR 4:38 And He Himself was in the stern, asleep on the cushion; and they awoke Him and said to Him, "Teacher, do You not care that we are perishing?"
MAR 4:39 And being aroused, He rebuked the wind and said to the sea, "Hush, be still." And the wind died down and it became perfectly calm.
MAR 4:40 And He said to them, "Why are you so timid? How is it that you have no faith?"
MAR 4:41 And they became very much afraid and said to one another, "Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?"

LUK 8:22 ś Now it came about on one of those days, that He and His disciples got into a boat, and He said to them, "Let us go over to the other side of the lake." And they launched out.

LUK 8:23 But as they were sailing along He fell asleep; and a fierce gale of wind descended upon the lake, and they began to be swamped and to be in danger.
LUK 8:24 And they came to Him and woke Him up, saying, "Master, Master, we are perishing!" And being aroused, He rebuked the wind and the surging waves, and they stopped, and it became calm.

LUK 8:25 And He said to them, "Where is your faith?" And they were fearful and amazed, saying to one another, "Who then is this, that He commands even the winds and the water, and they obey Him?"

MAT 8:28 ś And when He had come to the other side into the country of the Gadarenes, two men who were demon-possessed met Him as they were coming out of the tombs; they were so exceedingly violent that no one could pass by that road.

MAT 8:29 And behold, they cried out, saying, "What do we have to do with You, Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?"

MAT 8:30 Now there was at a distance from them a herd of many swine feeding.
MAT 8:31 And the demons began to entreat Him, saying, "If You are going to cast us out, send us into the herd of swine."
MAT 8:32 And He said to them, "Begone!" And they came out, and went into the swine, and behold, the whole herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea and perished in the waters.
MAT 8:33 And the herdsmen ran away, and went to the city, and reported everything, including the incident of the demoniacs.
MAT 8:34 And behold, the whole city came out to meet Jesus; and when they saw Him, they entreated Him to depart from their region.

MAR 5:1 And they came to the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gerasenes.
MAR 5:2 And when He had come out of the boat, immediately a man from the tombs with an unclean spirit met Him,
MAR 5:3 and he had his dwelling among the tombs. And no one was able to bind him anymore, even with a chain;
MAR 5:4 because he had often been bound with shackles and chains, and the chains had been torn apart by him, and the shackles broken in pieces, and no one was strong enough to subdue him.
MAR 5:5 And constantly night and day, among the tombs and in the mountains, he was crying out and gashing himself with stones.
MAR 5:6 And seeing Jesus from a distance, he ran up and bowed down before Him;
MAR 5:7 and crying out with a loud voice, he said, "What do I have to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I implore You by God, do not torment me!"
MAR 5:8 For He had been saying to him, "Come out of the man, you unclean spirit!"

MAR 5:9 And He was asking him, "What is your name?" And he said to Him, "My name is Legion; for we are many."
MAR 5:10 And he began to entreat Him earnestly not to send them out of the country.
MAR 5:11 Now there was a big herd of swine feeding there on the mountain.
MAR 5:12 And the demons entreated Him, saying, "Send us into the swine so that we may enter them."
MAR 5:13 And He gave them permission. And coming out, the unclean spirits entered the swine; and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the sea, about two thousand of them; and they were drowned in the sea.
MAR 5:14 And their herdsmen ran away and reported it in the city and out in the country. And the people came to see what it was that had happened.
MAR 5:15 And they came to Jesus and observed the man who had been demon-possessed sitting down, clothed and in his right mind, the very man who had had the "legion"; and they became frightened.
MAR 5:16 And those who had seen it described to them how it had happened to the demon-possessed man, and all about the swine.
MAR 5:17 And they began to entreat Him to depart from their region.

MAR 5:18 And as He was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed was entreating Him that he might accompany Him.
MAR 5:19 And He did not let him, but He said to him, "Go home to your people and report to them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He had mercy on you."
MAR 5:20 And he went away and began to proclaim in Decapolis what great things Jesus had done for him; and everyone marveled.

LUK 8:26 ś And they sailed to the country of the Gerasenes, which is opposite Galilee.
LUK 8:27 And when He had come out onto the land, He was met by a certain man from the city who was possessed with demons; and who had not put on any clothing for a long time, and was not living in a house, but in the tombs.

LUK 8:28 And seeing Jesus, he cried out and fell before Him, and said in a loud voice, "What do I have to do with You, Jesus, Son of the Most High God? I beg You, do not torment me."
LUK 8:29 For He had been commanding the unclean spirit to come out of the man. For it had seized him many times; and he was bound with chains and shackles and kept under guard; and yet he would burst his fetters and be driven by the demon into the desert.
LUK 8:30 And Jesus asked him, "What is your name?" And he said, "Legion"; for many demons had entered him.
LUK 8:31 And they were entreating Him not to command them to depart into the abyss.
LUK 8:32 Now there was a herd of many swine feeding there on the mountain; and the demons entreated Him to permit them to enter the swine. And He gave them permission.
LUK 8:33 And the demons came out from the man and entered the swine; and the herd rushed down the steep bank into the lake, and were drowned.

LUK 8:34 And when the herdsmen saw what had happened, they ran away and reported it in the city and out in the country.
LUK 8:35 And the people went out to see what had happened; and they came to Jesus, and found the man from whom the demons had gone out, sitting down at the feet of Jesus, clothed and in his right mind; and they became frightened.
LUK 8:36 And those who had seen it reported to them how the man who was demon-possessed had been made well.
LUK 8:37 And all the people of the country of the Gerasenes and the surrounding district asked Him to depart from them; for they were gripped with great fear; and He got into a boat, and returned.
LUK 8:38 But the man from whom the demons had gone out was begging Him that he might accompany Him; but He sent him away, saying,
LUK 8:39 "Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you." And he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.

MAT 9:18 ś While He was saying these things to them, behold, there came a synagogue official, and bowed down before Him, saying, "My daughter has just died; but come and lay Your hand on her, and she will live."
MAT 9:19 And Jesus rose and began to follow him, and so did His disciples.
MAT 9:20 And behold, a woman who had been suffering from a hemorrhage for twelve years,

came up behind Him and touched the fringe of His cloak;
MAT 9:21 for she was saying to herself, "If I only touch His garment, I shall get well."

MAT 9:22 But Jesus turning and seeing her said, "Daughter, take courage; your faith has made you well." And at once the woman was made well.
MAT 9:23 And when Jesus came into the official's house, and saw the flute-players, and the crowd in noisy disorder,
MAT 9:24 He began to say, "Depart; for the girl has not died, but is asleep." And they began laughing at Him.

MAT 9:25 But when the crowd had been put out, He entered and took her by the hand; and the girl arose.
MAT 9:26 And this news went out into all that land.

MAR 5:21 ś And when Jesus had crossed over again in the boat to the other side, a great multitude gathered about Him; and He stayed by the seashore.
MAR 5:22 And one of the synagogue officials named Jairus came up, and upon seeing Him, fell at His feet,
MAR 5:23 and entreated Him earnestly, saying, "My little daughter is at the point of death; please come and lay Your hands on her, that she may get well and live."
MAR 5:24 And He went off with him; and a great multitude was following Him and pressing in on Him.
MAR 5:25 ś And a woman who had had a hemorrhage for twelve years,
MAR 5:26 and had endured much at the hands of many physicians, and had spent all that she had and was not helped at all, but rather had grown worse,
MAR 5:27 after hearing about Jesus, came up in the crowd behind Him, and touched His cloak.
MAR 5:28 For she thought, "If I just touch His garments, I shall get well."
MAR 5:29 And immediately the flow of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of her affliction.
MAR 5:30 And immediately Jesus, perceiving in Himself that the power proceeding from Him had gone forth, turned around in the crowd and said, "Who touched My garments?"
MAR 5:31 And His disciples said to Him, "You see the multitude pressing in on You, and You say, 'Who touched Me?'"
MAR 5:32 And He looked around to see the woman who had done this.
MAR 5:33 But the woman fearing and trembling, aware of what had happened to her, came and fell down before Him, and told Him the whole truth.

MAR 5:34 And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your affliction."
MAR 5:35 ś While He was still speaking, they came from the house of the synagogue official, saying, "Your daughter has died; why trouble the Teacher anymore?"
MAR 5:36 But Jesus, overhearing what was being spoken, said to the synagogue official, "Do not be afraid any longer, only believe."
MAR 5:37 And He allowed no one to follow with Him, except Peter and James and John the brother of James.
MAR 5:38 And they came to the house of the synagogue official; and He beheld a commotion, and people loudly weeping and wailing.
MAR 5:39 And entering in, He said to them, "Why make a commotion and weep? The child has not died, but is asleep."
MAR 5:40 And they began laughing at Him. But putting them all out, He took along the child's father and mother and His own companions, and entered the room where the child was.
MAR 5:41 And taking the child by the hand, He said to her, "Talitha kum!" (which translated means, "Little girl, I say to you, arise!").
MAR 5:42 And immediately the girl rose and began to walk; for she was twelve years old. And immediately they were completely astounded.
MAR 5:43 And He gave them strict orders that no one should know about this; and He said that something should be given her to eat.

LUK 8:40 ś And as Jesus returned, the multitude welcomed Him, for they had all been waiting for Him.

LUK 8:41 And behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was an official of the synagogue; and he fell at Jesus' feet, and began to entreat Him to come to his house;
LUK 8:42 for he had an only daughter, about twelve years old, and she was dying. But as He went, the multitudes were pressing against Him.

LUK 8:43 ś And a woman who had a hemorrhage for twelve years, and could not be healed by anyone,

LUK 8:44 came up behind Him, and touched the fringe of His cloak; and immediately her hemorrhage stopped.

LUK 8:45 And Jesus said, "Who is the one who touched Me?" And while they were all denying it, Peter said, "Master, the multitudes are crowding and pressing upon You."
LUK 8:46 But Jesus said, "Someone did touch Me, for I was aware that power had gone out of Me."
LUK 8:47 And when the woman saw that she had not escaped notice, she came trembling and fell down before Him, and declared in the presence of all the people the reason why she had touched Him, and how she had been immediately healed.
LUK 8:48 And He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace."
LUK 8:49 ś While He was still speaking, someone came from the house of the synagogue official, saying, "Your daughter has died; do not trouble the Teacher anymore."
LUK 8:50 But when Jesus heard this, He answered him, "Do not be afraid any longer; only believe, and she shall be made well."
LUK 8:51 And when He had come to the house, He did not allow anyone to enter with Him, except Peter and John and James, and the girl's father and mother.
LUK 8:52 Now they were all weeping and lamenting for her; but He said, "Stop weeping, for she has not died, but is asleep."
LUK 8:53 And they began laughing at Him, knowing that she had died.

LUK 8:54 He, however, took her by the hand and called, saying, "Child, arise!"
LUK 8:55 And her spirit returned, and she rose immediately; and He gave orders for something to be given her to eat.
LUK 8:56 And her parents were amazed; but He instructed them to tell no one what had happened.

MAT 13:54 And coming to His home town He began teaching them in their synagogue, so that they became astonished, and said, "Where did this man get this wisdom, and these miraculous powers?

MAT 13:55 "Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not His mother called Mary, and His brothers, James and Joseph and Simon and Judas?
MAT 13:56 "And His sisters, are they not all with us? Where then did this man get all these things?"
MAT 13:57 And they took offense at Him. But Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his home town, and in his own household."
MAT 13:58 And He did not do many miracles there because of their unbelief.

MAR 6:1 And He went out from there, and He came into His home town; and His disciples followed Him.
MAR 6:2 And when the Sabbath had come, He began to teach in the synagogue; and the many listeners were astonished, saying, "Where did this man get these things, and what is this wisdom given to Him, and such miracles as these performed by His hands?
MAR 6:3 "Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, and brother of James, and Joses, and Judas, and Simon? Are not His sisters here with us?" And they took offense at Him.

MAR 6:4 And Jesus said to them, "A prophet is not without honor except in his home town and among his own relatives and in his own household."
MAR 6:5 And He could do no miracle there except that He laid His hands upon a few sick people and healed them.
MAR 6:6a And He wondered at their unbelief.
